We specialize in powerful storytelling and compelling content for non-profits and the health care/wellness industries. Our mission is to empower organizations that are making the world a better place.
WEBSITE REDESIGN + MANAGEMENT
Cleveland Transformation Alliance asked us to create a redesign of their website. In support of The Alliance’s mission to ensure that every child in Cleveland attends a quality school and every neighborhood has great schools from which families can choose, Good Cause Creative collaborated with local boutique agency ipso Creative to ensure that this data-heavy website could meet the needs of the community it serves including parents, families, a large nonprofit board, multiple shareholders and target audiences. Good Cause Creative also provides ongoing maintenance, site updates and hosting support for this project.
Good Cause Creative has provided both group and individual writing coaching for employees at Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization. The partnership recently led to a grant application moving on to the final stages of acceptance.
EVENT MANAGEMENT, CONTENT & WEB DEVELOPMENT
The Very Rev. Tracey Lind, a sought-after public speaker and community leader, travels throughout Europe and North America sharing the insights she’s gained from a “life complicated by dementia.” Good Cause Creative manages all of the communications and logistics for these events. We also created Tracey’s website, edit her weekly blog posts and newsletters, and manage media relations and social media.
WISH Cleveland, northeast Ohio's source for inspiring news, is central to our mission at Good Cause Creative. A percentage of all our revenue is used to support this community of writers and changemakers. Every member of our team helps make this site possible, from graphic design and web development to content creation, editing and social media.
Launched in June 2016, WISH Cleveland (formerly the Good Cause Blog) successfully raised donations, engagement and awareness for more than 100 nonprofits and social ventures in greater Cleveland within just four months. Want to know "Why" we do what we do? Check out WISH Cleveland to find out what inspires us.
WEB DEVELOPMENT + WRITING
Partnering with Wild Free Studios, an international team of documentary film professionals, on their website design and content creation was like sitting down for a long talk with kindred spirits. Like us, Wild Free values true creative collaboration and they always put people first, ahead of the bottom line. This custom website design included private login capability for clients such as Google, Coca Cola, Chevrolet and Special Olympics, and it was designed to render their amazing cinematography and photos beautifully, no matter the screen size or resolution. One of our favorite parts of this project was a custom-designed map indicating all of the amazing places these world travelers have explored with their cameras.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT & EMAIL MIGRATION
Initially, Good Cause Creative was asked to help make updates to an existing website and subdomain that were not meeting the Women's Recovery Center's needs. After a year of occasional support and site maintenance, Good Cause Creative combined and rebuilt their current sites, including a capital campaign tracking page, integrated events calendar and e-commerce.
Throughout the process, GCC freelancers have worked collaboratively with their communications and marketing agency partners to provide full-service support on a consultant basis, including email migration and maintenance.
Content Marketing, Blog Posts, Video Production
Kinnect (formerly Waiting Child Fund) is a hard-working, small nonprofit based in Cleveland. They’ve advocated for kids in foster care since 2005. Starting in January 2015, GCC has provided Kinnect with digital marketing consultation, weekly blog posts, social media campaigns and video production. The first Waiting Child Fund video premiered at their 11th Annual FUNraiser event on March 5, 2016.
Good Cause Creative curates content, edits submissions and designs the layout for The Chimes, a monthly printed newsletter for Church of the Saviour United Methodist in Cleveland Heights.

“Pam has a wonderful way with words. She is highly capable of transforming dry topics into engaging, personable articles. Her work is informative and compassionate yet, entertaining and conversational. She's deadline-oriented, produces a clean output and overall--is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her writing and expertise in areas of community outreach, health care and non-profit communications.” - Jessica Smulski
Our client needed a full scale, user-friendly website that curates videos to bring yoga and mindfulness into K-12 classrooms quickly and easily. The site also required analytic and user-friendly admin capabilities to prepare for rapid growth. Project completed on time and within a nonprofit budget scope.
